OMG, that looks awesome!
Does it look that cool under Win98 and Win2000 or is it only WinXP and Vista?

I like this one (modern) enough but I think the older one is better and more original.

Looks nice, but I think it's too fancy (3D, shining stars, ...). My guess is that after a while you don't want see it anymore. Just a guess and my personal opinion.

No, sorry. Doesn't look finished yet, something wrong with the proportions. And I agree with Helmut, too fancy and shiny. But it might be something if they make another try.

I agree with Helmut. And - it looks too "deluxe" - Deluxe is/was shareware and for someone even bloatware (I did use it just few hours, so I don't know...) - it could cause also problems with XZEOS.

I think, new XnView logo should looks similar to old XnView logo, but I agree that it could be better.

well, i'd agree with using it on xnview.
like i saud before, xnview looks too "win98". with the launch of vista coming (yeah right... cof, cof) i think xnview should start thining about giving a new life to the xnview look.
and no, it's not too shiny... that's how it must be.
people "breathe" first impressions... i support the idea of choosing a new icon, new file icon-set and new default skin.
september seems to be very important, the launch of a new windows version, and a *nix version too, maybe a good time to consider some look changes too ;)
