When I Image / Add Text... to an image and select center or right aliment AND have check the outline checkbox the preview shows properly but when I click to place the text the aliment is always left justified when placed. The aliment is correct when I uncheck the outline option.

but I've additional criteria to help reproduce the problem, I hope.

I can confirm that this is still and issue in XnView Classic 2.49.4. It is also an issue in XnView MP for Windows v0.97.1 for the batch conversion, but the issue does not exist in XnView MP's feature Image -> Draw -> Add Text.
