Images with custom pixel aspect ratio is not displayed correctly

i have a PCX image with custom aspect ratio, but it does not display correctly.
this remains incorrect even after converting to PNG.
and i did not know that a pixel aspect ratio in this particular image even exist

it is needed to disable pixel aspect ratio

image has non-standard xy dpi, so you either
- fix them or
- uncheck "Adjust zoom if X/Y DPI are different" in settings
