Post by Peter2 » Wed Jul 02, 2008 3:29 pm

Hello

we have thousands of TIF-files and I think about start working with metadata, but I have no experience.

What is the best format for metadata in TIF: IPTC or XMP or EXIF or ....

EXIF is only to store camera data
IPTC is for me the best, many software use IPTC and not XMP

Yes, IPTC is more useful (because many softwares use IPTC and not XMP).
But MIE (and also XMP) is better for me than IPTC.
