Hi there, hope I did this right, first post. I couldn't find that this had already been reported -
1 . Mouse switching mode for middle click behavior (I tried double click and it did the same thing) set to Browser<>Fullscreen|Viewer<>Fullscreen
2. Middle click an image in the browser, works as expected goes to fullscreen for that image
3. Middle click again to close it and go back to browser
4 . Middle click another image
5. The first image shows again not the one you just middle clicked
6. Go to another folder
7 . Middle click an image and you just get a blank screen.
Simon.
b1: Fullscreen only shows the first image selected

Welcome to the XnView forum and the 1.90 testing, Simon! Your first post is good, especially the step-by-step description to reproduce the problem.
I followed your steps and have middle-clicked many times but experienced no problems (Windows XP SP2). Perhaps a problem that can be reproduced on dual core, only? Do you use 1.90 Beta1?

Hi Helmut - yes it says 1.90 beta 1 in the 'about' box, downloaded it the other day. I use XnView a lot at home and am familiar with all the settings but can't get it to work (version 1.82.4 works fine for me, middle click shows the image fullscreen). They aren't dual core (PC is a few years old) just dual processors. Win XP is up to date SP2. I will try downloading it again and starting from scratch.

Confirmed.SimesB wrote:Aha figured it out! The problem is only with the preview window closed. Just tried again with default settings it works fine with the little preview window open at the bottom but click on the arrow to close it so you just have the tree folder and browser visible and the problem comes back.
