NConvert produces Dr. Watson

I'm trying to convert a sff- to a tiff-file. When calling

nconvert -out tiff -xall 20935.ofx

all works ok, but I have a tiff-file per page. So I tried using the -multi switch. But with the following command line I'm just getting Dr. Watsons:

nconvert -out tiff -xall -multi 20935.ofx

I'm using version v4.79 of nconvert.

Sorry, forgot to mention: The error occured on Windoes XP SP2.
