Sort and Import + Search Files

Trying a new workflow on my wifes phone, where I'm importing from a iPhone Acronis Backup......over the time I've tried plex and nextcloud and now acronis......one issue with these sync methods is they tend to have their own file name specification. Which can result in duplicates.

The Search for files is great for identifying them.....unfortunately no single button for "if the right hand side = lefthand side (when looking at the compare dialog - and the right hand side are the newly imported) - delete".

Or, as part of the import and sort dialog, an option for searching to duplicate photos already. That operation is proably a little difficult unless you're holding your hash value in the DB, or you'd have to scan the library on each photo and/or hold it in memory.
