Newbie questions

Hi: just downloaded XnView MP for Mac, so a few questions:

* First of all.... is there some user's guide for this?

* Can I in fact resize pictures?

* Why do black & white images show up in negative when I'm trying to edit them? Can this be corrected?

Any basic help would be appreciated.
