I just find that the "Copy full path" (in English) is a clearer distinctive name in this instance. In other instances the name "Copy path" would be just sufficient. At the end of the day, they both perform exactly the same function of copying the full path of the file - am I right?

What do you or anyone further think? :|

For me, "Path" means just drive+folders portion of the full file specification (w/o filename) and "Full path" means Path + long filename.

Hello,

Copy path = copy the address (full) file with no arguments, no less!

This would leave less doubt, however:
copy
copy Special
  • Copy the image data
    Copy the file name-s
Copy the file path-s ..................( Y is necessarily included the file name!)
Future Help / Support to be aware of the possibilities / limitations offered options "Copy Special".
How about using a shortcut and recommend the appropriate section of the Help :?

Fr:

Or you could just call it "Full path"

..So in my screenshot mock-up rename 'Copy full path' to simply just "Full path(s)"

When using "Copy" in MP, the clipboard gets 4 items:
  • Unformatted Text
    Device Independent Bitmap
    Unformatted UNICODE Text
    File
For pasting into Outlook, one must choose (via "Paste Special") one of the above. (Outlook Paste defaults to "File", which means an attachment is automatically appended, not always what the user wants).

Having separate options is for those of us who anticipate the behavior of other software and want to skip a few UI steps (after the copy and before the paste).

2 entries where? Do you mean that you plan to make 'Copy full path' (or whatever name) not be inside the 'copy to clipboard' sub-menu? Or do you mean something else?

Pierre,

for the current "select path(s)" and "select filename(s)" could you add the text suffix of "only" to both of them so that it's more clearer to the user.
