Hi,
I like XnView MP, but I don't like that it displays tabs above the menu bar. Could you please add an option to display tabs below menu bar?
Regards

Re: Option to have the menu above the tabs
I see that you didn't implement this design without thinking about the pros and cons, thanks. However, the discussions also show that not everybody likes tabs above menus. Therefore I suggest to make it configurable.
I have been working with tabs on top for a while in various programs (IE, Thunderbird), but I never started to like it. It always seemed unnatural.

Re: Option to have the menu above the tabs
Hello,
I would like to say that I too don't like tabs before the menu.
It feels very unnatural in Windows (and probably in any other OS), and beside the aesthetics, there is also some usability problems:
When I want to click on a menu item, if I move the mouse a little too fast, I may hit the close button of a tab, which is a bit annoying.
This would not be possible if the tabs were below the menu.
Nevertheless, I don't think tabs at the top are always a bad idea:
All the web browsers now have the tabs at the top, but it is a very different matter, as there is no menu bar...
Also, the browsers have the tabs incorporated in the window bar, which makes this disposition actually useful, unlike the implementation of XnView.
Sorry for posting in an old topic, but I didn't want to start a new one just to say that.
