Ctrl+X not available for cutting from picture

Post by hafter »

Hello,

in the new XnView MP (V.0.61) it is not possible to cut out a field from a picture (jpeg) with Ctrl+X.
The button Ctrl+X is shown but not active (in German "Ausschneiden Strg+X").

In the XnView classic version I can use Ctrl+X without Problems.

Thanks for help.

I've just tried in XnView MP 0.60 on Windows XP and the same problem: When opening an image (Image view mode) and selecting an area with the mouse, the menu Edit > Cut remains greyed out and cannot be selected. And Ctrl+X has no effect. :bugconfirmed:

The Edit > Cut command is also grayed out and ctrl + x does nothing in
xnview mp v0.61 on linux mint 15 32bit.

It works fine in xnview 2.04 running through wine 1.4.1.

To achieve the same result as the cut command in xnview mp v0.61,
one can make a selection, copy it, then press the delete key.
