The field to read / enter specific dates is a bit too small, the first or the last digit is sometimes hidden.
It would be better to read the whole date
.
.
It was a good improvement in V1.0 to separate days and hours , maybe adding "Years" field is even better ?
(some photos have got 01/01/1970 hh:mm:ss as an exif date, the camera had lost it's date)

Re: Change Timestamp: Hidden digits
Right, date field is too narrow in your YYYY/MM/DD date format. Even in the German DD.MM.YYYY the field is a bit too narrow. I've just added a note in topic Truncated labels [All languages]
Hmm, not sure whether adding year would be really a good solution for your problem. And then, we have hours, days, and years but months are still missing. :/
Perhaps the possibility to set date and time independantly would be a good solution. I.e. you can either correct date and time (like it is now) or date only or time only. What do you think, michael038?

Re: Change Timestamp: Hidden digits
@Helmut
On my example above
" some photos have got 01/01/1970 hh:mm:ss as an exif date, the camera had lost it's date "
First, with XnViewMP I added 12:30:00 and 100 days to my images, to give them the right date/time except the year.
1970/01/01 00:03:50 > 1970/04/10 12:33:50
Then, I used ExifTool to add 50 years
> 2020/04/10 12:33:50
Your idea, something like that, would be excellent: .

No problem with 1492 in exif dates, but remember to avoid using dates before 1970 in the "file dates" (File created, File modified)
Maybe à warning could bé useful fort this...
