Pencil in Draw Board To Draw Smoother Lines
Hello
XNView MP is spectacular as a viewer and as an editor, that's indisputable, but if we go beyond what it already is, it would be fascinating, don't you think?
Pencil in Draw Board To Draw Smoother Lines
When i Press Shift + D (Draw)
Please Add The Option To Use Pencil, And Adjust Width Of The Pencil
Use it With Drop Shadow, Or Without Drop Shadow
And The Opacity Option When Using The Pencil
That Would Be Amazing if it is implemented in XNView MP

I support this suggestion!
And it could expand the abilities in editing Black and White graphics (maybe after Desaturate an image) and/or create own masks (Effect => Add mask), to work with transparency.
And in addition to the original suggestion I would add soft edges like the "Hardness" selection in Gimp:
https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-tool ... nt-options

Re: Pencil in Draw Board To Draw Smoother Lines
This function is important in an image viewer and also in an image editor such as XnView MP
I don't think Pierre implements this feature, he didn't even respond to this post, so... it's not important to him
I express myself with all due respect BUT I think this is a waste of time without a doubt
it hurts because this function is literally a very necessary implementation, all image viewers and all image editors have it integrated, but not XnView!
This should be a high priority without a doubt
I try to help in everything I can, I can't do anything else, it depends on third parties
thanks anyway

I tested it, but it needs 2 fixes please
When I use the pencil, a dot appears at the beginning of the stroke and a dot at the end of the stroke and it does not allow the stroke to be moved, that's a bug
shadow option is missing (it needs Drop Shadow)

Re: Pencil in Draw Board To Draw Smoother Lines
I missed one super important thing to add
very VERY important!
When you draw a stroke, 3 points must appear, at the beginning of the stroke, at the end of the stroke AND in the MIDDLE of the stroke, the midpoint of the stroke is to be able to move it and create curves, it must has more points in the middle of the stroke, to have freedom to move it in various positions and create curves
THAT IS QUITE IMPORTANT Please Pierre

IT´S EVEN WORST THAN BEFORE PIERRE...
When I use the pencil, a dot appears at the beginning of the stroke and a dot at the end of the stroke and it does not allow the stroke to be moved, that's a bug
AND the dot appears AWAY from the beginning and also AWAY from the end of the stroke, the bug or the bugs now are worst than before Pierre
AND... THIS IS IMPORTANT AS WELL
When you draw a stroke, 3 points must appear, at the beginning of the stroke, at the end of the stroke AND in the MIDDLE of the stroke, the midpoint of the stroke is to be able to move it and create curves, it must has more points in the middle of the stroke, to have freedom to move it in various positions and create curves
And... shadow option is missing (it needs Drop Shadow)
Ver. 1.7.0. has bugs but was better than this 1.7.1
