It would be great if files with different filenames could be regarded as companion files. Imagine a camera's original filename with added information that differs for the raw file and the JPG, like a CRC32 "P8010029 [7E8FC609].JPG" and "P8010029 [0FC35B78].ORF" or "P8010029 published.JPG" and "P8010029.ORF".
If we could use a similar syntax as for renaming files, that would be very useful. E.g. instead of just using the extensions "{raw}/jpg", something like "Filename[1-8]}.{raw}/Filename[1-8]}.jpg" could be used to move the file pair "P8010029 [7E8FC609].JPG" and "P8010029 [0FC35B78].ORF" as companion files.
Companion files - use part of original filename, not just extension
