Missing feature: Selection Ratio fixed but still adjustable by user

Hi,

I am missing a feature that is available in the classic version.

I usually trim pictures with xnview to a right size and will often use the "selector fixed" aspect ration 16:9.
In Classic you can select 16:9 but still resize the borders of your selection and trim it to size with ctrl+x.
In MP however, the aspect ratio can not be changed or altered. You can only drag the selction it to the outer border of the current shown picture and not further adjust it. In classic the selector would kind of "overflow" in either direction, making it possible to have more options while cutting without the need of changing the Aspect ratio settings.

that doesn't help. For the next picture, I have to adjust the aspect ratio again to 16:9
