not showing new files

when downloading images in to a folder, xnviewMP does not udate even if pressing F5 and rebuild thuumbnails, have to close the folder and open for the software to "see" the new images
also, when making a new folder and putting new files in it xnviewmp NEVER puts a thumbnail automatically on it, always have to press "rebuild thumbnails"
