v0.12 OSX 10.5: Folder tree problem

Folder tree only displays 2 places - 'Home' and 'Computer'.
While I can navigate to most local places through those folders, I still cannot reach any Network drive or any external drive, unless I type the location into the adress bar.

In my opinion the Folder Tree should completely represent the Finder sidebar, so that users wouldn't need to get used to new ways of navigating, and especially typing the locations in the address bar.

I have the same problem. As space on my Macbook is limited i have most of my picture on an external drive, which is not shown in the folder tree. I also use often usb sticks, which does not show up.
