it could be windows7 issue, but when i restore MP from maximized mode it looks like this, so i need to re-size MP window again. besides TreePane became very narrow, so have to adjust it as well. i happens couple times a day, a bit annoying..
please look it it could be fixed

Sorry to say, Pierre, but window size is "forgotten" also here (v0.64 on Win 7 64bit).

You start XnViewMP, maximize it, quit, and when you restart it's no more maximized??

On the contrary, it is. My sequence: I start XnViewMP, resize it (e.g. to 3/4 of the screen), maximize it, close it, restart it (it is maximized), un-maximize it and then it's in most cases as big as I made it last time, but sometimes it's so small as shown in the screenshots. I did not yet find any pattern when it's big/small; I've the impression it has to do with changed monitor resolution as it happend the last times after I (dis)connected my Laptop to an external monitor. As it's seldom and very easy to fix (just resize the window and move the vertical separator (Layout3) because left part with preview is too narrow), this issue is not so important for me :)

Right, I also cannot reproduce it reliably.
