Rename of folder not reflected in file tree view

Post by xiofen »

When renaming a folder in XnViewMP (win10, 32 bit, Xn v.0.86) the name change is not reflected in the folder tree view (or in the category view)

The only way I have found to get the folder tree view to properly update is to restart XnViewMP

(I also experienced issues with the folder name not being changed on completion of rename popup- but I think this was due to the display not updating)

(more) When using "move to.." context menu the old (deleted folder) also is not removed from the file-tree view.

What happens when you delete a file? Is it not updated in the tree view either?

Edit: there is an option in settings -> interface -> Synchronize browser when view is closed. This is probably what you are missing here.

Seems fixed as of 0.89 (with or without "synchronize folder" set)
