Remember categories' selection between ...

Post by nji9 »

1. sessions
2. view / unview of item

1. is a suggestion:
If I do a selection by category pattern and close MP
after reopening MP the selection is gone.

2. is a bug:
If I do a selection by category pattern and double click
at one of the items (to show it), then double click again
the items that are shown then have nothing to do with any
category pattern.
Correct would be to have the previous category pattern selected
(enable-disable-pattern) and to have those items shown.

Not a bug, when going to browser from an image file, folder is opened

So you say:

"It's not a bug - it's a feature".

Actually it's very uncomfortable as the former used filter is gone
and has to be memoried etc.
Moreover I don't say any logical reason why after closing the image
its folder view should be opened.

Somewhere in settings is a checkbox "Close view opens file in browser" - this must override the last filter.

Probably a duplicate of this old and fixed issue.
