Fortis MAG Files

Hi,

I have a project to convert some couple of millions of MAG files (Fortis) to PDF or TIFF. I tried XnConvert Wich is a great tool, but.... in a four files sample I got , only 1 has converted with success. The others give me the following error:

nconvert -multi -c 7 -dpi 200 -out tiff -o e:\ficheirosmag\006AFCC1.tif e:\FicheirosMAG\006AFCC1.MAG

All MAG files are scanned documents, i.e. images. Can anybody help me?

Your code only has one input file, so I guess that MAG is a multi-page format?

If what you are trying to do is possible using NConvert, I'm not sure, you could try adding a -xall term which is the switch for extracting images from multi-page files...


Note: You've posted under the XnConvert section which is a GUI program, rather than under the NConvert command line software heading, but a mod can move it later.

Was a solution found for this? I am trying to do the same thing with converting Fortis MAG files, but run into the same error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I also am having the same issue converting Fortis MAG files to PDF. What is strange is, the conversion works for many files and I can't find any reasoning as to why the ones that won't convert don't. I have a very large conversion project around 500,000 files and Any help will be appreciated.
