Extract multipage-TIF and overwrite

Post by Peter2 »

I'm a little bit confused ..

- Take x.tif, multipage with 5 frames
- convert it to single page TIF, rotated, Filename: {Filename}_#

Result:
x_0.tif
x_0_1.tif
x_0_2.tif
x_0_3.tif
x_0_4.tif
Problem a:
Why does "Frame 1" does not start with number 1, but with "nothing"? And Frame 5 should be "x_0_5.tif" ...

- convert it again, file-settings "override"

Result:
x_0.tif
x_0_1.tif
x_0_2.tif
x_0_3.tif
x_0_4.tif
x_0_5.tif
x_0_6.tif
x_0_7.tif
x_0_8.tif
"x_0.tif" (Frame 1) is really overwritten, frames 2 - 5 are exported to files numer 5 - 8.

- convert it again, file-settings "override"

Result:
x_0.tif
x_0_1.tif
x_0_2.tif
x_0_3.tif
x_0_4.tif
x_0_5.tif
x_0_6.tif
x_0_7.tif
x_0_8.tif
x_0_9.tif
x_0_10.tif
x_0_11.tif
x_0_12.tif
x_0_13.tif
The new converted files get the numbers 9-13.

Find attached my INI-file - header and geometry removed.
(PS: Why is the PATH-Value empty?)

Please take a look at it.

Peter

D:\test\x_0_1.tif : gespeichert
D:\PDF-Ausgabe\x.tif (2) 4678x6617x1 : geöffnet
D:\test\x_0_2.tif : gespeichert
D:\PDF-Ausgabe\x.tif (3) 4678x6617x1 : geöffnet
