Sequential Numbering to Start from 1 for each (sub)folder

Post by EuM_Expert »

I am quite new to XnConvert - many thanks for that great tool!

My images are residing in folders and subfolders.
The renaming in #Output# is set to {Folder name}_##.

Works great, except that I would want to have the sequential number reset to 1 for each new subfolder.

Is that possible? And how to set it up?

Thx!

Hello,
I'm using the last version of xnviewMP (1.7.1 64 bits Apr 8 2024).
I use "Import and Sort" function.
It seems that the function "# enumerator per folder" doesn't works. When I choose this option the numbering continues at each new folder.
I would like that the first file of each folder start by 1.
I tried the $ but it doesn't works.
Do you have an idea to solve my problem?
Regards.
