Width of the left window

In standard size of the Window the left part of the window (the settings) are a little bit too small. The are only enlarging when the total size of the window is rather large.

Can it be modified to modify the left window to a size where I can see also the truncated part?

It can be seen in the picture above: change size; add text, ...

Edit: It seems that "IPTC" enlarges the space ...

No, English is a little bit smaller.
Maybe 3rd-latest (??) sentence in german is too long?
