IPTC-Settings: Keep and replace at the same time?

IPTC-Settings: Keep and replace at the same time?

At the end of the IPTC settings are these settings:

I don't understand it - I can "Keep" and "replace all" at the same time?
Usually I can "Keep or Replace" :shock:
XnViewMP <Current version> German, XnConvert <Current version>, Win 10

'Keep...' is only for Keywords
