Hi Pierre,
I'm doing a lot of Web development and I think it's great to have the Guetzli Encoder as well for specific files.
Could you include it to the Standalone version of XnConvert!?
Thank you very much!
Include Guetzli (like in XnView->Convert) into Standalone XnConvert

Forget about Guetzli, Jpegli beats all existing jpeg codecs in every aspect.
You can do massive converting with this codec in XnView MP.

@Kadet
Sorry for the late response - didnt think I'd get an update so didnt queck anymore.
But thanks for your answer - first time I hear about it.
Damnit, yet another new codec?
Wow, crazy!
Is there any downside of always using JPGLI instead of JPG, if the output of JPGLI (li=library I suppose) also produces JPG files? Does it mean they are similraly compatible as "regular" JPGs, just the algorithmn on how to "get there" is different and can produce visually equally good images just with smaller filesizes!?
Thanks for your help!

... Guetzli also has quite impracticable conversion times except for very small images, a frequent cause of serious issues, so best not supported anyway.

Currently, in the new version of XnView MP 1.8.1, you can easily test (Export function) the difference between the current JPG codec and the new JPEGLI codec in a some image. If you enlarge the image to see the artefacts produced by the codec (e.g. on smooth surfaces and letters), you will see a clear difference in favour of the JPEGLI codec, which will also result in a smaller file.
If you do not use the XYB option, the resulting file will be 100% compatible with all programs.
If you use this option, you will get an even smaller file, but e.g. JOOMLA does not know that this image uses a different ICC colour space and will create a thumbnail in broken colours. So be careful when using it in the web.
