Default JPEG compression settings

My friend noticed what quality and settings JPEG in XnConvert and XnViewMP not optimal , now set quality 80 and 2x2x1x1x1x1 this do poor quality and images blured ) Ioffer set as default quality 85 and 1x1x1x1x1x1 , size increase not significantly , and quality very significantly ) as you think ?

IMHO, the default settings should be:

• Optimize Huffman table = activated
• DCT Method = Float (best but slowest)
