Right, both links will lead to this forum. But there's some difference:

This is a direct link and shows the full URL to indivudal forum pages. Adding a specific forum page as favourite or linking to a specific page can be done easily.
- http://forum.xnview.com
is a frame redirect, only. In your browser there will be always the same address - regardless which forum page you surf.
