Presently, as options for search previous, we have
1) Search topic title and message text
2) Search message text only.

If we have another option to
3) Search topic title only,

it may help to search quicker with fewer finds, at least for well defined key words.

Correct. Searching the topic title is a feature known and common in mail programs, I don't know why phpBB does not provide it. Perhaps there is a forum mod / hack available.

Thanks for the response. Further,

Presently, on searching with a <search>, we get the response:
Search found <number> matches.

Instead, if it responds:
Search for <search> found <number> matches.
with a button to 'Repeat the search' which may open up the search window with the previous <search> preloaded.

If this is provided, searching in the forum will be a pleasure.

This request is made so that when we upgrade / customise the forum, this request may be looked into.
