Man !

Post by Clo »

:) Hello!

- I did ! Thank you for the link !
- Man ! I'm a bit disappointed to see a so low average on that site :|

- I guess it shall be important to attempt a calculation of an average of all averages ! :P

- Alas, I'm too busy here and elsewhere to make that… moreover, I hate maths !

 Kind regards,
Claude

I can't work out what people see in ACDSee,
I can understand why alot of people use IrfanView but ACDSee is so overweight and crap.

By the way: last time I tried IrfanView, there was no caching of Thumbnails: has this changed?
(I consider this as mandatory)

Olivier
PS: I believe ACDSee was one of the first efficient and known viewer. They used that to partnership with Manufacturers (digital cameras...) to make bundles. That may explain help their marketshare.

I've just voted. Once 1.82 is finished, a newsletter will be sent out. Perhaps a good idea to mention this poll in the newsletter.

@|VooDoo|: I've changed the topic title a bit and made this topic sticky, I hope you don't mind.

no problem at all! ;)

I, too, am disapointed with the results.

and btw, the pool is IP based, not with cookies :(

:) Hello !
…and btw, the pool is IP based, not with cookies :(
- Hé, hé… That does the trick for me ! I've an ADSL connection for which my provider changes my IP each 24 H !
- So, I can vote each day ! :P
- Beside : It's true, only deleting the cookies does nothing…
- 7.58 % at the moment, not a wonder indeed, but already better…
- And the softs which come with digital cameras skew that poll certainly.

 Kind regards,
Claude

IrfanView is still faster in some ways than XnView which is why it's more popular but in time I'm hoping to change this.

According to the % progression for ONE vote, we can say there are 666 (hellish !) votes currently…
