XnRetro 1.26 wont open on Windows 10 64bit

Hi,
I was about to try out XnRetro today, so I've downloaded XnRetro 1.26 zip file.

After extracting the archive I assuming the installation is not needed, so I just extracted the files into my C drive.
When I double click XnRetro.exe I get a pop-up saying "Cannot open existing file"

My bets bet is I need to donwload; Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)
however I already have:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x64)

Do I really need to install yet another package? or is it something else causing my issue?

yes you need to install 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)'
