How to hide the small icon in the top left of a thumbnail

I hope that the small icons and check boxes in the upper left corner to appear only when the mouse is hovering. They are cute little icons, but I want the interface to be as clean as possible when browsing the thumbnail list.

Settings, (Browser) , Thumbnail, Overlay icons ...

You can also change settings in "Appearance" tab, to get larger thumbnails in the same place by reducing margins, borders, spacing

Maybe you were looking for something like "Create, Contact sheet " ?
