How to honor star filter when in view mode?

For example, if I tag a subset of images with four stars, then set the browse filter to equal four stars XnView MP correctly displays only the images tagged with a four-star rating. However, if I double-click one of those images and then go to the next image without returning to the thumbnail view, it doesn't honor the four-star rating filter. It just displays the next image regardless of rating.

Is there a way to make the same filter apply to both thumbnails and viewed images?

Hello,

I think that there is no way for now . For quite some time, view mode has been expected by users to show (at least by default) only the images displayed in the browser mode...

The issue viewtopic.php?f=96&t=43182 allowed to make this possible with "Filter By" and "Quick search" (v1.4.3) but "Rating filter" has been forgotten... Hopefully Pierre will fix this remaining issue quickly !

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

My 1.4.4 installation doesn't think there's an update available. Is this 1.4.5 the actual GA release?
