XnViewMP .61 - .68 on Lubuntu: Videos wrong colour space

Post by yymoz »

Good day,

I would like to first thank the development crew & community for this brilliant project. I have been a satisfied user since the Classic 1.7x series.

At present I need to work with a range of submitted video formats [for a community 3d anim project with video wall] . I can live w/o thumbnails under Linux for the time being - but they sure would be very handy to me for rapid identification of media content. This leaves viewing the clips within XnViewMP .68, I prefer not to flip to another app to do so as its just not efficient.

However - ALL videos are played in the wrong colour space, that is, they appear 'inverted'. Only XnViewMP has this problem on my system and all versions of MP thus far do it. There does not appear to be any setting I can find within MP to help this. If there is, or if you know where to look to adjust a setting that affects XnVMP in this regard pls somemone let me know - as Im at my wits end and may need to abandon the project and the months of category work Ive nearly completed will need to be started over. :?

Which formats?
Only XnViewMP has this problem on my system and all versions of MP thus far do it.
Which other programs play well the above videos?

Thanks for your response!

ALL formats of video mp4/mpeg/avi/ogg...etc any format at all, do not play in the correct colour space.

ALL other players I have installed play the correct colour. This fault is only invoked by XnViewMP it would seem. Any version of XnVMP does this.
