How to scan photos in XnViewMP

I've just installed XnViewMP v0.68 on my computer (Fedora 20) so I could scan old pictures and embed data in the metadata But there is no scan button on my toolbar. I can't find any help online please help me.

This feature has yet to be implemented in the Linux edition.
