I discovered strange behaviour.
On my desktop machine *.BMP files opened and display through Viewer
On my laptop not.
I have no idea why. My desktop and laptop have same OS (Win10 21H2 19044.3324 LTSC, updates and even XnViewMP (1.5.3). I use portable version with same config and all other files in directory on both machines.

what's happened?
In Windows Explorer I click on *.bmp file to open it and view in XnViewMP
On my desktop PC: I see content of file
On my laptop: I see blank XnViewMP window
Same OS, same XnViewMP versions (same config files) but different physical machines.
