I'm a new user of XNVIEW MP both on Ubuntu and on Windows 10:
On Ubuntu there is no problem in categorizing images on USB pen drive but I cannot do the same on windows:
after selecting an image all categories remain shadowed.
What I'm doing wrong? Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Re: Cannot categorize images on USB drive on windows
Solved. The problem is the different interpretation of removable peripheral on "catalogo->esclusioni/inclusioni" by ubuntu vs Windows.
Simply unchecking "lways exclude removable" and it worked.

Heyo,
I am using XnView my first time and am still figuring out how to deal with it. Since I need to storage some of my photos on an ext. SD-card on my surface I was not able to select a category. I managed to assign it to 2 single photos but could not reproduce it.
