Hi,
I use XnViewMP and I love the product. I'm up to date on the latest version. I have a couple thoughts that might be my lack of knowledge or may be opportunities for useful enhancement, both related to organizing:
1. When I am in thumbnail view and I am multi-selecting images to apply categories, it is difficult to know which images are selected. I know from the status bar how many I have selected but i cannot visually identify which images are selected to ensure I haven't mistakenly selected an image inappropriate for the category I want to apply.
2. It would be wonderful to have a categories view, maybe a tree pane into which we could drag images into category folders, and which we could use to click on a category and see all images in the database for that category. If this mode or functionality exists in the application, I am unaware of how to access it.

you can with the 'category filter panel' (on the left by default)2. I was all set to argue with you (I am aware how ridiculous this is) with a screenshot and now suddenly my eyes are seeing the blue outline they somehow missed before. Embarrassing. Thank you.
Thanks for this as well, looks like I'm all set for now.you can with the 'category filter panel' (on the left by default)
