APNG doesn't open in viewer automatically

I'm trying to open an apng file but all it does it opens up the browser interface instead of the viewer. I've set it in settings that "Mode when starting with a file" is viewer and this issue doesn't happen with other images as well. Drag and dropping apng in the browser works, switching between files in one folder works as well. But not opening directly. Win10, portable version, 1.3 x64.
