Fit image to window Large only

Post by deaded »

There is a command cmd_fitLarge that will fit an image to the window if it's too big for the screen. However when I go to the settings->view->view-tab under auto image size there is only the Fit image to window, not Fit image to window large only. I would like Fit image to window large only to be my default instead of having to press the toolbar button each time there is a big image.

Is there a way to get that command in the Auto image size drop-down selector?

Thanks :)

Thank you Pierre for you help. I do not have "fit image to window large only" in settings->view-> auto image size. There is actually no auto image size selection that I can see but I might be missing it. What I do see is 'reset auto-image size with next/previous image.' I keep trying it but it does not work right when clicked or unclicked. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry, yes. You're right. My brain is a bit mixed up because it does not work like I thought it would. When I use that all my images are shrunk to fit the window and it even shrinks ones that could fit on the window. I wanted it to resize the window each image (keep image at 100%) unless the image was too big and then it would shrink the image it to fit the window/screen.

I guess what I wanted was - size window to fit image and if it's too large then shrink image.
