I am trying to create the EXIF: Date Taken entry in a PNG file with the CHANGE TIMESTAMP function.
When I do, I get a message saying "An error occurred in updating process!"
The same action works well for a JPG. Just seeing this in a PNG file.

Re: Error adding EXIF data to PNG
I went to https://flatai.org/ai-image-generator-free-no-signup/ and created a test file.
This was actually the origin of files I was trying to write the EXIF timestamp to in the first place.
My goal was to rename all files according to timestamp. As a workaround, I have been converting them to JPG, keeping the original file date. And they I insert the EXIF information into the JPG.

Re: Error adding EXIF data to PNG
Well now I feel stupid.
I didn't even think to look at the file headers. I figured since the site and the browser said it was a PNG, it was a PNG.
Thanks for being my second set of eyes.
