Browser does not correctly recognise containing folder on OneDrive

Post by begem0t »

Subject: 1.5.5 MacOS: Browser does not correctly recognise containing folder on OneDrive

XnView: MP 1.5.5 - 64 bit MacOS
OS: Mac 64bit

I keep all my files on OneDrive, synced to the local drive on demand.
OneDrive can be browsed on Finder and image files open as expectd in Viewer.
On the other hand, Browser is not able to open the containing folder, it always starts in Home folder when I try to open image from OneDrive.
This happens both when XnView is set top open directly in Browser, and when trying to switch form Viewer to Browser.

Works as expected in non-OneDrive folders.

On Mac OneDrive appears under Locations in Finder, similar to a mounted drive. But mounted drives work as expected.

To reproduce:
1. Sync with an OneDrive accounts
2. Browse to a filder with images, double click on image.
3. If set to Viewer the image will open correctly. If you try to switch to Browser (Enter or doubleclick) instead of the containing folder Browser opens Home folder.
4. If set to Browser instead of the containing folder opens Home folder.

Expected behaviour: Open the containing folder, not Home folder
