HERE is two samples of input and output.
input is straight up how gopro hero 11 is shooting the frame
output is just after the conversion to tif

Another Heads up i just noticed is, that you read the image mirrored Horizontaly.
its an easy fix but i think it would be more beneficial to read it correctly to begin with.

the library from github has problem to extract the full version, only the half works

interesting, so it is a problem on gopros own side?
i can confirm that with other tools the extractin is correct, question would be, if they wrote their own library, but how would they keep it consistent to changes then.
EDIT: then it might be likely that all the other problems also result from the library issues.
