Problem with showing {Tag status} in fullscreen

There is a problem with showing {Tag status} in fullscreen view, after use of top pop-up photo index (mouse move up). It appears from few versions till current.
{Tag staus} don't work properly. At fullscreen If I tag any photo, and then use pop-up top bar, after that checking "tag=yes" shows empty brackets on next photos (like there were no tagged). Problems are expecialy with adding tag (yes) - with deleting tag works better or good. If I look at pop-up top index, tags indicatings are there shown properly. On clean fullscreen view there are problems with tag's (tagged=yes) visibility for next tagged pics.
Important now - switching to browser view and again fullscreen causes again properly working. For the moment. And then the same situation - if pop-up top index is shown, then tagging next photos is again not visible in fullscreen (in index is ok).
But this is no way to work good. Switching modes every time.

Currently don't have Mac for few months (only windows machine), but I remember that this bug was on macOS too, with few versions of XNViewMP.

I don't know. Simply adding a tag to subsequent photos should not "get stuck" after seeing the top pop-up index bar (and hiding it). I don't know what causes this problem.
But I have edited the first description of the problem above, maybe now it will be easier to understand and find.

At the risk of hijacking the thread; here is how to reproduce the problem on my end.

1. Ensure {Tag status} is set to display in Tools>Settings>View>Info
2. Enter Fullscreen mode on an image and ensure info is displayed "i" to toggle
3. Press Ctrl-t to tag the current image
>Here, the {Tag status} should flag an X as soon as you press Ctrl-t; it does not

4. navigate left or right to another image, then back to the original one
5. The X now displays for {tag status}

Yes, something similar like You described. But in this list is missing action that causes problem - at fullscreen view moving mouse to top of screen to see photo index for the moment, and then this problem appears for next photos. When problem exist (so X is not seen for tagged photo) pressing "i" turn off visibility of tag status, and pressing again "i" shows properly tagged photo. But only for this one photo when key "i" is used. Next photos still has problem. So there is a bug for sure.
If problem is on (so X is not visible for tagged photo) going forward one photo, and then going back causes that X is visible properly on first photo. But again - only for this one photo where you make action with going forward and back, or pressing double time "i". Next photos with tag shows still empty square brackets. This is very annoying for work.
