Your suggestion is very dangerous Dreamer, because if some tagged files exist in an (or some) other directory, it is impossible to see them directly into the current XnView browser/thumbnail folder, so by your suggestion you can modify or delete without prompt and warning all "hidden" tagged files instead the mouse selected one.
I know what you mean, perhaps there might be a warning, or it should be only ini option, but I would be using it with another option "clear tags on exit", so it wouldn't be so danger, I remember that I have tagged the files, with option "clear tags after an operation" it would be even less danger.

When more than one file is SELECTED, then dialog would be OK, but if just one file is selected, then, with the option, it would be useful to delete the tagged files, or perhaps at least highlight the button "use tagged files", because this dialog is very annoying when I need to delete the files in many folders with keyboard.

Oh no, please! It would be even worse, I couldn't use tags to delete the files at all. :(

But in this case, I guess David.P probably disagree, because he probably always uses the option Options\thumbnails\Icon Info\Tagged file list must be cleared = "never", for its favorites photos.

So perhaps the best solution is to have 'Don't ask again, use always selected files'??

O.k.. The wording might be improved, e.g.:
"Don't ask again, always use selected files."
or
"Always use selected files and don't ask again."

What do native speakers suggest?
