Image preview issue

XnView Classic can preview thumbnails of 3dmax files. Why can't XnView MP preview them?

do you have Settings>General>show all graphic formats?

Yes, I have checked all the options. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but the thumbnails still cannot be displayed

You must have an extension on Windows explorer to show .max thumbnails, no thumbnail here on Classic

Good catch! FWIW users on the XnView forums got help from the official dev asking for a sample file so they can see exactly why the thumbnails/preview aren’t showing, and one suggestion was to check Settings → General → show all graphic formats first.

Umm, Gracy, the person you’re replying to, xnview (Pierre) IS the “official dev”. See how it says “Author of XnView” by his picture?
