I verified that the same problem with 1.9.5 is on MacOS 15.7.2 and Windows 11.

XnView MP displays only a 256x192 pixel Lossy DNG image when I open it up. XnView MP properly displays a Lossless DNG.

Both DNG files created with Photoshop 2025.

change View from 'Embedded preview' to 'Full size'
in Settings > Read > Camera RAW

The embedded JPEG is 5220x3912 pixels.

But I did as you suggested. There is no change. Still just 256x192.

After making the change I restarted XnView MP.

And as I wrote above a Lossless DNG is displayed properly.

I can provide 2 DNG files created by Photoshop 2025:

1. Lossy DNG 8.2mb
2. Lossless DNG 23.4mb

What would be a good way to provide them?

Normally by providing a download link, which can be from a Google Drive account provided the download is set to be available to anyone, or maybe if size permits, as an email attachment to the xnview.com contact address on the website home page, with this topic title quoted in the subject line.

Okay, I changed them to Anyone with the link. I hope it works this time.

so far only adobe apps can open your OM124428_lossy_full.dng correctly
I have not found any app that can open it in full size

Thank you for verifying that XnView MP does not display it properly. That is why I reported this problem here. I hope a future version will work correctly.
