Editing File Associations does not work

It works with 1.70.4, but was broken in 1.74. Maybe the changes made for

"Fixed : Associations on XP (Windows only)"

caused this?

It's funny in XnView Deluxe: the installer get's it (one _can_ associate 9 file types while installing), but the app itself doesn't (like in XnView free: neither does it associate anything nor does it notice anything that's already associated).
