go options-browser- "use dialog to rename" uncheck it.

Ok. But as XnView already said: Windows Explorer behaves the same way. No bug then.

When you press home it means go to start of a word or sentence. Going somewhere in the middle of file name with home button does not help to anyone and it's totally meaningless.
Also AcdSee, Stoik Imagic etc doesn't share this bug with Microsoft.

For you. For Microsoft it obviously meant "go to start of line".

For me and the most other picture viewer tools it means "go to start of file name".
