Fixed in RC6.
Please retest - e.g. in Windows 98 / 2000. Thanks.

Hello !
- Seems
not fixed up with Win 98 SE in RC6 :
- I set an adjusted smaller size for the browser window,
- I close the browser, then the program,
- I restart XnView : the browser has the maximal size again, the adjusted size was not saved…
Did I miss something, or

still ?

I found something odd, if I uncheck "Use different position/size for browser & view", check "Maximise Xnview at Startup" and then restart XnView, XnView still remembers the smaller window for View mode until I maximise it manually than it seems to hold.
Again : nope !

Hi again…
… and tested again with:
[x] Remember last window position/size
[x] Use different position/size for browser & view
* Peanuts* I get the maximized sizes for both View / Browser windows still…

Very strange. It works perfectly for me. I'm using old '.ini' file.

OK. Use different postions is broken again. It uses smaller sized viewer for both positions now.
Old INI too...

Hi B. !
- You are running Win 2K, are you not ?
This occurs with 98 SE; I use an “old” ini too, since I rebuilt the INI on May, 27th. for a previous RC where all went wrong here…

marsh, what options (general and startup) are you using in XnView?

I'm using these options:
[x] Remember last window position/size
[x] Use different position/size for browser & view
[x] Only one view opened
[x] Maximize view when open
[x] Launch browser at startup
[ ] Start view in fullscreen
[ ] Maximize Xnview at startup
[ ] Always on Top
mode: Browser <> Viewer
I'm using an INI which was born in RC6. Win2k SP4.
Update: The smaller the window, the faster it breaks.
